This project is evaluating fungicides and biological control agents for the control of sclerotinia in lettuce. With the permit for use of a biological product now having been approved, trials were undertaken in summer and autumn of the 2024/25 growing season. None of the alternative fungicide treatments trialled significantly reduced the incidence of sclerotinia compared to the industry standard.
