Sclerotinia control in dwarf beans
The demise of chemistry available for the control of Sclerotinia in field beans has left this crop significantly exposed. This project evaluated the efficacy and residue profile of a selection of new fungicides for the control of Sclerotinia in dwarf beans. Four field trials were undertaken.
Results from this project found all fungicides evaluated showed some Sclerotinia control in beans. Treatments that were applied in a programme of five sprays leading up to 14 days prior to harvest showed better disease control. Fungicide residues were all below 0.1 mg/kg.
