Bacterial disease was ranked as a concern in crop protection for several sectors. Five field trials were undertaken to evaluate the efficacy of candidate compounds for head rot control in broccoli.

Best head rot control was achieved with conventional chemistry (copper) as well as three of the six biological fungicide options performing equal to the copper treatments.
