Crop protection practices are the focus of an A Lighter Touch survey aiming to establish whether growers are moving to a more integrated approach to pest and disease management.
The purpose of the survey is to track what ALT has achieved since it started, what difference it has made for growers and the wider sector, and where it could be improved in the future.
Those who complete the survey, which takes five to 10 minutes to complete, will go in the draw to win a $200 voucher from PGG Wrightson/ Fruitfed Supplies.
We want to hear directly from growers and crop protection advisors about their views and practices in the crop protection space, especially around agroecological crop protection (ACP). For the purposes of the survey, ACP is being defined as a more integrated approach to crop protection, which in addition to agrichemicals, uses a combination of new technologies, biological tools, and cultural practices such as crop rotation, cover crops, and biodiverse planting.
The winner of the $200 voucher will be drawn in September and notified by email.
