Segmentation 101 is one of several resources being developed by A Lighter Touch and extension experts Scarlatti to support A Lighter Touch (ALT) product groups in designing, implementing and evaluating their extension programmes.

The resource explains audience segmentation and its use in improving the impact of extension efforts. It includes a step-by-step guide and a practical example of segmenting an audience in a horticulture context.

This resource is the latest developed as part of the biologicals awareness and integration project, and follows another recently released resource, the Awareness and integration of biologicals checklist.
