Growing a Greener Future – Crop Protection for Aotearoa 2050 is the focus of the New Zealand Plant Protection Society 2024 symposium, which A Lighter Touch is co-hosting, along with NZPPS, the Agrochemical-Light Solutions for a Sustainable Future programme (AgResearch) and Plant & Food Research.
The symposium will focus on delivery of new and emerging crop protection science in the face of increasing challenges around climate change and resource limitation, and the need to produce more safe and nutritious food while conserving biodiversity.
Being held in Auckland on August 12, 2024, the symposium immediately proceeds the NZPPS conference, running from August 13-15th.
