Internationally, UVC light technology has proven to be a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution for controlling powdery mildew. In partnership with A Lighter Touch (New Zealand), Bragato Research Institute is exploring how UVC light could help grape growers manage powdery mildew more sustainably, by demonstrating the benefits of this technology in New Zealand vineyards.
Join the team behind the project at Whitehaven in Marlborough on Wednesday 29 January for an overview of the project and a practical in-field demonstration. Please note this workshop is being held in the evening from 7.30pm to 9pm due to the machinery operating at night.
