TomatoesNZ is joining with Potatoes NZ to host an education workshop on Tomato Potato Psyllid (TPP).

It will cover some of the basics around TPP identification, lifecycle and how liberibacter can be spread. The presenters will also talk about research around control of TPP from NZ and abroad and some of the unknowns. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers.

The presenters are:

• Frances MacDonald,
• Jessica Dohmmen-Vereijssen both from Plant and Food Research.
• Roger Blyth from Seed and Field Canterbury.
• Lex Dillon, involved with the A Lighter Touch-TNZ project focusing on TPP/beneficial insect trials in tomato greenhouses

When: 26 June, 2025
Time: 10am – 12.30pm (with lunch for those present after)
